VGA Round Up

Spike TV's annual Video Game Awards were held on Saturday spotlighting some of the industries highest achievers for 2010. But that's the boring bit! The real attraction is the game announcements and unveilings with shiny new trailers to go with. You'll find them all embedded after the break AND links to pre-order them in our online store!

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception leads the pack. Holy Moley!

One of Batman's oldest, but more obscure villains, Hugo Strange, is revealed to have a major part to play in Arkham City. A psychiatrist with an unhealthy obsession with Batsie, he's also been rumoured as the Caped Crusader's nemesis in The Dark Knight Rises film. But where's Catwoman?

SEGA's Thor, based on the upcoming blockbuster movie, based on Marvel Comics' much loved funnybook series following the God of Thunder seems to have a little in common with a God of... something else that we can't quite put our finger on

The Foza Motorsport 4 trailer is more all setting a feel for the next installment. Definitely worth getting excited about. Time to start investigating Xbox 360 steering wheels, kids! Look, here's one!

Resistance 3 gameplay and more teasing on the new style of the series - A little bit Left 4 Dead, a little bit Children of Men? Can't wait for more on this.

Valve brings us more Portal 2 love. Guaranteed to be the best turn-your-brain-into-a-pretzel-working-out-the-puzzles game of next year, and probably the funniest, to boot!

We have a new challenger for next year's Mortal Kombat series reboot! Kratos, the very angry man that he is will be a PS3 exclusive. Who would you want to see as the Xbox equivalent?

Mass Effect 3! Coming to PC, 360 AND PS3 all on the same day (scandalous!) in time for next Christmas

The next Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim, is teased! No in-game footage sadly. A new graphics engine has been confirmed, so think even bigger than Oblivion. Wow

Movie maestro Guilermo Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, both Hellboys, Blade II) is teaming up with THQ for a few new game projects. The first, inSANE, is teased here for 2012 release. We'll start taking pre-orders once something beside the title is announced

SSX Deadly Descents marks a big change in tone for the popular snowboarding series.

Finally, we have a teaser for a second game in the Prototype series, which looks to put you on the other side of the conflict and surely up the already insane level of destructive capabilities wielded in the original
